Sum Smart Cookie University and the FriendChip Farm are educational divisions of Tuxedo Toys Inc. Sum Smart Cookie University specializes in providing fun, educational activities for children preschool through elementary school. These activities include math, reading, vocabulary, and geography. The FriendChip Farm strives to promote the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives. Visit the FriendChip Farm at the St. Paul Farmers’ Market or visit Wuollet Bakery at 1080 Grand Ave. in St. Paul for coloring activities from Sum Smart Cookie University. Both Sum Smart Cookie University and The FriendChip Farm were created by Julane Severson, an educator and parent. She is a Home Economist as well as an elementary educator with specializations in child development and family life. In 2002 she was nominated by her school as a representative for “Teacher of the Year.” Besides being a full time educator, she has been an invited presenter for the Association for the Education of the Young Child International, Provider’s Choice Conference & Training, Greater Minneapolis Day Care Association, and Working Family Resource Center-St. Paul Schools.
